Red Atlas was a 2007-10 collaboration between musician Ian Olney (Power Of Dreams/Sultans) and writer John Patrick Higgins, alongside Ben Pestell (The Beale), Si Endacott (Temperance Union) and MK Smith (tEDS).
They wrote transcendent guitar-based pop in the face of overwhelming indifference, then played it clumsily in doleful venues, several of which are now closed/ demolished.
